It’s nice to meet you! Here’s a bit about me…
BACKGROUND: Episcopal priest. Recovering academic. Parent. Married. Spent time living and studying in the former USSR. Ordained in Chicago. Love Scrabble. Learning to draw and paint. Horrible sense of direction. Gave up eating Paleo. Never want to trade in my 2004 vehicle. Pray daily.
POLITICAL STANCE: Politics is a competitive game. People pick teams. I don’t care what team you are on. I do care what you think the game is all about and how you play.
Respect the dignity of every human being. No matter what team they’re on. Really.
MY PROJECT: It’s important to me to be a person of integrity. I’m striving to live a faithful life. Some days that’s harder than others. I’m not promising easy, simple answers to life’s big questions. I don’t think genuine faith ever does. I’m offering what I’ve learned along the way, through study and experience.
I’m glad you’re here. Thanks for joining me. Faith is a shared adventure.
